snoopingSnooping is principally a feminine hobby. Don’t you believe me? Well, a market leader in U.S. women’s programming - says that 67 per cent of women admit to spying on their partners, with 58 per cent acknowledging that they’ve also spied on their children.

Recent research by security firm Symantec found that almost two-thirds of women regularly sneak a look at their partner’s text messages and emails, particularly when they suspect him of being unfaithful. Even at work many would peek confidential information about friends or colleagues on corporate networks.

Women do it mostly because information is power and knowing what’s going on in the partner’s life gives them a measure of control.

So why when we know that the chances are women will discover something we don’t want to know, do we still do it? Just tell your partner that you are addicted to poker before she finds out anway :)
